New Zealand Produced Rutherford, the super rat, the super con, and now the super crim.

Joshua Kite is no body's fool - arguably the most intelligent crim New Zealand has produced to date.
That is why Kiwis are rallying in his support, a website has already been set up to crowd fund his defense should he be caught - a task that would require a massive increase in the IQ of the New Zealand police force who have so far only dealt with people with the IQ of a nine year old.

Alleged gunman still on the run from Police in Northland

Police say they have completed a search warrant at an address north of Auckland this evening, where they were looking to locate Joshua Mason Kite.
Mr Kite allegedly stole an unmarked police car and shot at police earlier this week, and is yet to be found.
The armed operation has now finished and police have left the scene but say they were unable to locate Mr Kite at this address.

Almost twenty marked and unmarked police vehicles were blocking Brown Road near Mangawhai, with the Fire Service also in attendance.
At about 6.50pm, a ONE News reporter at the scene heard 8-9 loud bangs in the area, but said it was unclear if these were gunshots, tear gas or some other source.
Police vehicles were seen leaving the scene about 7.45pm, but no new information was released by police at the scene.
A police helicopter was circling overhead for a large part of the afternoon, but left the scene early this evening, possibly to refuel.
Police are urging anyone who sees Mr Kite to call Police.
